The paper provides methodology of calculation basic design parameters of low emission centrif- ugal pump. The main design parameters that should be calculated according the method are rotation frequency of the pump shaft, diameters of the inlet and the outlet of impeller, width of the inlet and the outlet of the impeller, angles of the blades at the inlet and the outlet of the impeller, number of impeller blades. The procedure gives approximate results and enables to calculate required num-bers. Its results could be used to make adjusted calculation of low emission centrifugal pump.
