
Effect of design solutions on improvement of passive safety of bus bodies

The article analyzes influence of different types of bus body frame elements on the efficiency of impact energy absorption when rollover in accordance with UNECE Regulations №66. There are mentioned the ways of connection of non-bearing components to body. These ways are supposed to improve passive safety of bus. The results of an experimental study of the effect of lining boards onenergy consumption of the bus body are provided.
