In particular, it analyzes the theory of private money, the concept of cryptocurrencies, features of the issue of funds, as well as the practice of central banks of foreign countries on the development and implementation of digital currencies in the financial system, the position of the Bank of Russia on this issue, identifies the advantages and disadvantages of the circulation of central banks digital currencies.
