The article deals with the problem of children`s religious education in young student families settled in Kyiv. It reveals family moral and ethical influence on child`s behavior in society. Family is the main educational institution and parents are those who teach children certain qualities, ideas, and views from childhood. Over time these standarts for behaviour will be transformed and improved and soon they will be reflected in shaping the future outlook and character of the child.In this article we consider the main issues related to religious education which are important for each young family. The christening of a newborn child on the first days, giving an opportunity to choose religion, or christening with the future possible choice – that are the key points of the discussion commented and evaluated by modern student families.The lack of religious education will definitely affect the character, outlook and self-identity of the child. At the same time, the in-depth study of the Law of God and the imposition of spiritual values also have an effect on the child. However, the impassive vision of religious education and healthy atmosphere in family relationships make it possible for the student family to do their best educating child in religious life.
