The article considers various approaches to the estimation of earth dam slopes stability taking into account changeability and uncertainty of properties indices for materials in the structure and the ground base, as well as variability of effective loads. The necessity and the expediency of use of probability estimate methods are emphasized. The paradigm and the example of earth dam slopes stability analysis are provided.
