The proposed article justifies that the introduction of an academic discipline “Quality of life of the population” complies with these principles and will encourage effective learning of basis disciplines of the curriculum: philosophy, ecology, statistics, economic theory, law, political science. The introduction of the course “Quality of life of the population” in the educational programs of bachelors of economic orientation seems to be justified from the point of view of the implementation of the principles of building the educational process and organization of work of the teaching staff, built considering the development trends of world civilization.
