In the present paper, some contradictions that hinder the joint work of biologists and engineers in designing biosimilar systems with distributed control are considered. Also, several solutions for the robotic systems are suggested. Modelling of a system including functional analogues of the nest and other infrastructure elements, passive and active foragers is proposed.
