The article is devoted to the discussion of the main characteristics of a new direction of educational lexicography – onomagraphy. Educational onomagraphy is qualified as an integrative lexicographic discipline that combines the experience of traditional lexicography, achievements of anthropo-oriented educational lexicography with the capabilities of the digital era lexicography in describing a proper name.
