A new stage in the development of figurative lexicography is characterized, associated with the digitalization of not only the process of lexicography, but also the vocabulary product itself. Considered are digital versions of dictionaries and electronic databases describing the figurative means of the language – metaphors, comparisons, phraseological units, paremia.
