The report is devoted to the experience of developing an associative dictionary «Multicultural Kazakhstan: Value Ideas In the Linguistic Consciousness of Ethnic Groups». Interpretation of the data of a free associative experiment conducted among representatives of ten ethnic groups allows studying trends in the development of linguistic consciousness of ethnic groups in a multicultural society.
