The dynamics of the population movement in Belarus are examined. The contribution of the main demographic factors to the change in the population of the Minsk region, the most populated region after the capital, is analysed. The paper presents a scientific forecast of the number of children and adolescents, considered as the fundamental base of the demographic future, in the Minsk region.
