The article examines the main contradiction of poetry: the inability to fully convey impressions of the world in a sounding speech and the desire to continue attempts at utterance. The relevance of the topic lies in the importance for each person of asserting their own “I” through speaking and finding ways to realize this goal. In the course of the study, it was found that poetic speech represents the incomprehensible and inexpressible by a combination of verbal description and accompanying omissions.
