Methotrexate, kenalog, and cyclophosphamide were tested for immunosuppressive activity in steelheads Salmo gairdneri. Three 60‐mg/kg injections of methotrexate prevented an increase in serum antibody titer in fish previously immunized with killed whole cells of Aeromonas salmonicida. No immunosuppression in previously immunized steelheads was observed following injections of kenalog and cyclophosphamide. Received December 3, 1982 Accepted April 20, 1983
