Medicated food pellets for trout were prepared using 1.5 percent by weight sulfamerazine. Mixing and pelleting methods are described. Samples of pellets, taken at random during pelleting, were analyzed colorimetrically for sulfamerazine 2 days after pelleting and after storage of the pellets at 41° F. for 2 months. The sulfamerazine was found to be quite evenly mixed in the pellets and no loss detected after storage for 2 months.
