Lake Alma, a 72.5‐acre lake in southern Ohio, has been checked for fish production from 1937 through 1947. During 1945–1947 no length limits, bag limits, nor closed seasons were imposed. Test‐netting and creel census before and since 1945–1947 indicate no measurable difference in fish populations or in anglerˈs success due to liberalized fishing.
