This study examined the casual relationship between agricultural energy consumption and agricultural growth in Maharashtra using annual data covering the period from 2009-10 to 2019. The study revealed that , there is no presence of the co integration equations at 0.005 per cent level of significance conformably denotes rejection of the hypothesis at the 0.05 level and showed none co integration equations were significant among agricultural growth GSDP and agricultural energy consumption EC. Applying a modified version of the Granger causality test it is found that there is uni-directional causality between agricultural energy consumption and agricultural growth in Maharashtra.
