The polypyrole film (PPy) was electropolymerized on the steel CT3 passivated in molybdate solution. Polypyrrole is electrochemically synthesized on passivated steel CT3 in the solution of different acid salicylic concentration and 0.1 M monomer pyrrole. The constant current 2.75 mA/cm 2 was applied on the cell for electropolymerization. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron diffraction X‐ray were performed in order to study the micro structure and morphology as well the elements analysis of PPy. The results of IR spectroscopy showed that PPy was synthesized. Thermal gravimetric analysis was carried out to study the thermal stability of PPy. The polarization and impedance measurements showed that the anticorrosive ability of PPy was improved when the film was doped with 0.03 M acid salicylic and formed on molybdate passivated steel CT3.
