This article aims to present the cooperation between the President of the Personal Data Protection Office and the independent supervisory authority appointed by the Catholic Church. Taking into account the independence and autonomy of the Catholic Church provided for, among others, in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and in the Concordat between the Holy See and the Republic of Poland of 28th July 1993, the author aims to indicate the basis, scope and principles of cooperation between the above mentioned authorities. Taking into account the independence and autonomy of the Catholic Church stipulated inter alia in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and in the Concordat between the Holy See and the Republic of Poland of 28th July 1993, the author aims to indicate the basis, scope and principles of cooperation between the above mentioned authorities. The author attempts to present the benefits of cooperation between the abovementioned authorities and the impact it may have on increasing the level of personal data protection and security.
