The impact of Information Technology (IT) in organizations has attracted the attention of professionals and academics in recent years. This article analyses the relation between the use of IT and the technologies of Industry 4.0 with internationalization and business performance. Through a study of 168 companies in Bogotá city, different regression analyses have been carried out according to the research model proposed to estimate the effects of the determined variables. It is evident that companies with a greater degree use of IT present a greater degree of international activity. Likewise, the study established a model that demonstrates the direct relation between the use of IT and industry 4.0 technologies with business performance.
