The article presents the author’s vision of the essence of the modern intellectual mission of the Ukrainian national university, which consists in substantially modernizing all sections of work in order to maintain and strengthen the flagship positions in the system of higher education and science of Ukraine on the basis of an organic combination of modern theoretical and methodological, informational, technological and methodical preparation. specialists, educating them on the principles of high professional ethics and morality, in the spirit of selfless service to the university corporation and people of Ukraine. It is emphasized that the implementation of such an approach involves the active approval of the innovative, intellectual and informational model of university education and science that should be developed on an autonomous basis and, at the same time, effectively interact with the state, civil society and business circles.
