In medicine, a case report can be defined as a detailed report of anthropometric characteristics, symptoms, physical signs, explorations, diagnoses, treatments, follow-up and evolution of a patient. The reasons for the publication of a case report are multiple, ranging from the rarity of the case to its didactic side.
