Artistic activity accomplished while playing represents the free choice of a child. Freedom of expression as one of the main principles in work with children of the pre-schooling period, establishes itself precisely while playing. The child freely chooses the form and area of its artistic work, the artistic-technical means, the motives of its artistic expression, the place of performance and the duration of the artistic activity. While playing a child develops visual, emotional, intellectual and technical-expressive capacities that take part in the artistic expression. Modelling with different materials in its games a child expresses itself universally in art. Artistic activities in playing are accomplished in the atmosphere of initiativeness and capability and a mutual trust between the child and the educator which is an important condition for creative artistic expression of the pre-school child.
