The encouragement and development of creativeness is one of the fundamental tasks of the artistic education of a child in the pre-schooling period. Playing as a form of activity enables the successful realisation of the task. lit gives the possibility of a more felxible and richer artistic expression of children. While playing children express themselves without restriction and freely, developing so their own creative potentials. Artistic activity accomplished while playing represents the free choice of a child. Freedom of expression as one of the main principles in work with children of the pre-schooling period, establishes itself precisely while playing. The child freely chooses the form and area of its artistic work, the artistic-technical means, the motives of its artistic expression, the place of performance and the duration of the artistic activity. While playing a child develops visual, emotional, intellectual and technical-expressive capacities that take part in the artistic expression. Modelling with different materials in its games a child expresses itself universally in art. Artistic activities in playing are accomplished in the atmosphere of initiativeness and capability and a mutual trust between the child and the educator which is an important condition for creative artistic expression of the pre-school child.
