This article deals with Emmanuel Kant’s original contribution to the formation of the concept of science in philosophy. As this philosopher appears in a period of strong disagreement between rationalistic speculative philosophy on one side and the empirical tradition on the other, this philosophy represents an important attempt to create an original philosophical system having taken over the most successful itetns (in methodological-pragmatistical as well as in systematic-theoretical sense) from both of these two philosophical trends. By effectual program, using the results and theories of influential scientific paradigms of that period, he figures as science philosopher contributing essentialy to the formation of the concept of science in philosophy. This article is a part of greater whole; in this part the formation of the fundamental concept of science as pointed out through the concepts of: a priori perception, apprehension, quantity, substance, synthesis, analysis, concept, apperception, consciousness, self-consciousness, intellect
