Judgement on a wicked philosopher

The paper analyses the poem "Death of a Philosopher" by the modern poet A. Tsvetkov. The author’s aim is to examine the metrical and compositional structure of the poem and to draw a parallel between folklore and classic Russian poetry by V. Zhukovsky, S. Marshak. The paper shows how the poem turns into a parody of a panegyric, and ironically undermines the influenceof Postmodern philosophers.
