UMA TIJOLOTECA COMO FONTE DE PESQUISA: COLEÇÃO ARQUEOLÓGICA CASA DO GRITO

A Reserva Técnica do Centro de Arqueologia de São Paulo possui diversas coleções arqueológicas onde, entre os vários materiais que as compõem, chama a atenção a grande quantidade de tijolos. Por isso, o Centro de Arqueologia tem como uma de suas metas a organização de uma Tijoloteca. Esse artigo traz notícias sobre a execução de um projeto piloto para a Tijoloteca do CASP que foi desenvolvido pela autora no âmbito de seu trabalho de conclusão do curso de especialização em Arqueologia. São os primeiros passos para organização dos tijolos e consequente disponibilização das informações unificadas. Espera-se que a Tijoloteca contribua para diversos estudos arqueológicos e que seja uma ferramenta para ações educativas que busquem promover a importância do patrimônio arqueológico urbano. Foram organizados 163 tijolos provenientes da escavação arqueológica ocorrida em 1981 no Sítio Histórico Casa do Grito, na cidade de São Paulo. Destes, 47 unidades foram selecionadas para compor a Coleção Referência onde a partir das informações contidas no tijolo buscou-se identificar as olarias, e com isso sua localização e períodos da atividade produtiva. Absctract: The Stored Collection of the Archaeological Center of São Paulo encompasses several archaeological collections and, of the various materials that compose them, a large number of bricks has drawn our attention. Therefore, the Center of Archeology has made of one of its goals the organization of these bricks into a "Brick Collection" or  Tijoloteca. The aim of this article is to bring news about the execution of a pilot project for the CASP's Tijoloteca, which project was developed by the author as a final course assignment for her  Specialization  Course in Archeology.  Organizing the bricks is the first step of the project, followed by making the information about them consolidated and available. It is expected that the Tijoloteca contributes to several archaeological studies and that it turns into a tool for educational actions that seek to promote the importance of the urban archaeological heritage. 163 bricks were organized from the archaeological excavation realized in 1981 at the Casa do Grito Historic Site, in the city of São Paulo. Of these, 47 units were selected to compose the Reference Collection. Based on the information contained on the bricks, it was possible to identify the brickyards, and thus their location and period of activity.
