A ficção e a narrativa como desafios ao uso da literatura como fonte histórica: contribuições da teoria da história para o debate

Há um longo debate historiográfico sobre a aproximação da história e da literatura, o quanto de história há na literatura e quanto de literatura há na história. Discutir como a literatura poderia ser utilizada como fonte histórica acaba por levantar questões mais profundas que colocam em questão a própria natureza da historiografia, se esta teria uma natureza artística e fictícia, ou se seria científica e objetiva. Neste artigo, pretendemos mostrar algumas das contribuições da teoria da história para este debate.Palavras-chave: História, Literatura, Narrativa. AbstractThere is a long historiographical debate on the approximation of history and literature such as “how much history there is in literature?” and “how much literature there is in history?” Discuss literature as a historical source leads to another questioning such as the very nature of historiography, if whether it would have an artistic and fictional nature, or it would be scientific and objective.
