This paper proposes an analysis of mosque conflicts in Austria by including statistics and figures of the Islam in the country itself. In order to exemplify these two topics, as well as to point out differences and similarities, three examples were chosen to illustrate the complexity of mosque conflicts. Furthermore, this paper will include the issue of Islamophobia as mosques are houses of prayer for Muslims and any uprising conflict must be seen in connection to each other.
