Emotional and cognitive factors have been shown to affect pain, and one of the main factors in the development of this effect is pain catastrophizing. The present study aims to determine the effect and frequency of the pain catastrophizing in shoulder lesions and to examine the association between pain catastrophizing and to assess the pre-operative and post-operative functional outcomes.
