The waters of Bali Island are through by ARLINDO with a temperature 5 ˚C – 10 ˚C making them particularly suited for the development of renewable energy for Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC). The objectives of this research are to determine the distribution of temperature, salinity, density to the depth and type of water mass and also to determine the maximum value of carnot efficiency, power gross (Pg) and power net (Pnet) in east – north Bali Island. Based on the research indicates the type of water mass in east – north Bali Island is North Pasific Intermediate Water (NPIW). The value of maximum carnot efficiency 0.828463, power gross (Pg) 0.0215 MW and power net (Pnet) 0.0170 MW.
