Every company has been led by its own culture and there is a strong association between organizational culture and organizational success. Organizational culture is a multidimensional one that may be influenced by many contributing factors. Hence organizations concerned about their culture should be vigilant about the changes happening in all these contributing dimensions to keep it unaffected throughout the journey. This study has made an attempt to identify the major contributing factors of organizational culture and to assess their relative contribution towards the overall organizational culture and their joint effect on employee performance. The data collected from 378 employees working in various IT companies in Kerala was analysed through structural equation modelling. The results revealed that all the seven dimensions of organizational culture used in this study are significant in shaping the overall culture of the organization. The study also revealed the impact of organizational culture as a composite variable on employee performance. The findings are very useful for the IT company executives in reinforcing the organizational culture by addressing the dimensions which are found more influencing in shaping the organizational culture.
