
SENSE OF QUALITY OF LIFE AND HIERARCHY OF VALUES – DIFFERENCES BETWEEN STUDENTS OF SOCIAL AND TECHNICAL FACULTIES

The analysis of literature concerning of theory of values hierarchy by M. Rokeach and model of the quality of life by B. Mróz allowed to creation of research hypotheses. Model MOA, the Sense of Life Quality Questionnaire, and the Value Scale were used in order to raise data base for a verification which came from 126 students. The main goal of the work was confirmed and it states that the level of quality of life differentiates the students pedagogic and electronic in terms of the sense of life quality and the hierarchy of values. Results analysis showed that the strongest predictor of the general sense of life quality were variables such as: „health”, „providing financial support for the family” and „mature love”. The research implications that contained possible preventive activities and the possibilities of future research in this area are also important aspects of the work.
