Alibertia latifolia (Rubiaceae) is registered for the first time in Argentina. This species has a broad distribution in South America and grows mainly in humid forests. It is described and illustrated, we provide a detailed description of its pollen grains, distribution map, and a key to distinguish it from Alibertia edulis, a species also found in the Southern Cone of America.
