Toxicity of Glyphosate Isopropylamine-based Herbicide on The Growth of Catfish (Clarias gariepinus Burchell, 1822) Juveniles. The herbicide based on glyphosate isopropylamine is a full grow up toxin for controlled weeds population. The kinds of this toxin are systemic and nonselective herbicides so that there is the greater using for farming land. The higher production rate of farming commodities are potentially to increase the utilization of farming land and utilization of herbicides. The intensive utilization of herbicides’s potential pollutant enter into aquaculture system. These conditions can occur due to the dilution of herbicide by rainwater, running water and bad community behavior that using herbicide. This study aimed to obtain LC50-96 hours and sublethal response of herbicide with glyphosate isopropylamine active ingredient. The herbicide was tested with exposed during 40 days to catfish juvenile ( Clarias gariepinus ). The observed responses were survival rate and growth consists of increase of length and weight of fish. Research was done by using experimental method. LC50-96 hours values were analyzed through simple linear regression analysis. Survival rate and growth of the fish on the sublethal treatment were analyzed by ANOVA. Sublethal treatment was tested with 0, 10, 20, and 30% of LC50-96 hours concentrations. Furthermore, another tests are conducted to see the differences among treatments. Result of study shows that the concentration of LC50-96 hours is 9.67 x 10-2 mL L-1. Test concentrations in subletal treatment were 0 ; 9.67 x 10-3 ; 1.94 x 10-2 ; and 2.90 x 10-2 mL L-1. Result shows that treatment with different concentration has significant effect on survival rate, length and weight of fish. Duncan test results show that the concentration of 9.67 x 10-3 mL L-1 is the lowest concentration that affects the survival rate and the increase weight of fish. Concentration of 2.90 x 10-2 mL L-1 is the lowest concentration that increase length of fish, significantly.
