MONUMENTS OF TRIBUTE AND STREETS AND PUBLIC SQUARES DEDICATED TO SIR ALEXANDER FLEMING IN CATALONIA: We describe the monuments of tribute in the form of statues or name plates dedicated to Dr. Alexander Fleming in Catalonia, as well as the number of thoroughfare, streets and public squares, which bear his name in the Catalan towns, as manifestations of affection and admiration in our country for the discoverer of penicillin. The frequency of these physical demonstrations of tribute is compared to that in other countries, such as England and Italy.
