Here, we present the treatment of the Loganiaceae of Bahia state. Three genera and 42 species are recognized, representing more than 90% of the species of Loganiaceae from Northeast Brazil. Besides Antonia ovata, 21 species of Strychnos (2 endemic to Bahia) and 20 of Spigelia (8) were reported. The treatment includes descriptions, illustrations, identification keys for native genera and species, as well as comments and maps of the geographical distribution of species in Bahia.
