The internet abounds with medical guidelines. However, if this information is not in keeping with your local guidelines, the usefulness of this information and its source is thrown into doubt. Maybe this is why there is a growing number of apps that offer in-depth and locally aligned information, which is sometimes straight from your hospital’s consensus meeting. This month, we review two apps that aim to make the life of a surgeon a little easier by putting local guidelines and hospital information at your fingertips.
