Fellowship by assessment Fellowship is the pinnacle of membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of England. There are a number of routes to fellowship, the newest of which is fellowship by assessment. The award of this is an honour that recognises the breadth and depth of an individual’s achievement in dental surgery and denotes the esteem in which a recipient is held by his or her peers.
