The article reveals the problems of forming a culture of communication of future teachers in the historical context and at the present stage of development. As a result of the analysis of the scientific literature in the course of work the concepts of communication and culture of communication are defined. The functions of communication between teacher and student are singled out. The specifics of management of professional training of future teachers, which is determined by the understanding of the essence of their professional culture, and is determined by value orientations in society, psychological, pedagogical and professional knowledge and skills, moral and ethical, motivational and volitional and reflexive-communicative qualities, communication culture. Approaches to managing the formation of communication culture of future teachers are analyzed.
