A special place in the school course of the Ukrainian language is occupied by the study of the syntax of a complex sentence. This is due to the role of language as a means of forming and expressing thoughts, as a means of communication between people. The functional significance of the units of all levels of the language system, their participation in achieving communicative goals is visible at the syntactic level only. So there is a close connection between the study of the syntax of a complex sentence at school and the elaboration of material in other language sections. In the article peculiarities of preparation to systematic course of syntax of complex sentence during learning of non-syntactic themes is studied. Analysis of syntactic role of parts of speech is important. The study of morphology on a syntactic basis allows to solve several didactic tasks: to discuss with pupils many types of phrases and morphological means of expression of members of sentence; consolidate syntactic and punctuation topics which were studied previously; to demonstrate some syntactic constructions, which will be discussed in detail later. The syntactic aspect of educational work is determined by the content of the morphological theme.
