Um presente sem porvir

O futuro é conhecido, mas não aconteceu ainda, duas afirmações evidentes que convivem e criam a tensão em torno da qual se desenvolve este texto. Aparecem sobrepostos o tempo da história e o tempo do indivíduo. O presente ora se apresenta como tempo de impossibilidades, ora como tempo de incertezas. Não há chão: ninguém mais sabe como olhar para o presente, ninguém mais tem tempo de aprender do passado. É preciso uma novidade realmente nova. O acontecimento parece apontar uma saída. No entanto, lembramos rapidamente que a ciência lacrou todas as saídas de emergência. Two clear statements, which coexist and create the tension that guides the development of this text. History’s time and the time of the self overlap. The present presents itself sometimes as a time of impossibilities, sometimes as a time of uncertainties. There is no ground: nobody knows how to look at the present anymore, and nobody has the time to learn from the past.  Some kind of new indeed novelty is in order.  The event seems to point to an exit. However, we quickly remember that science has sealed all emergency exits.
