Laryngotracheoplasty utilizing composite costal cartilagc‐perichondrium grafts placed both anteriorly and posteriorly within the cricoid ring has provided a significant advance in the management of acquired subglottic stenosis in children. Histopathologic data from a child who died after a laryngotracheoplasty is presented which indicates both the anterior and posterior grafts survive and grow.
