Burkitt's lymphoma, onchocerciasis, and scleroma are discussed in this paper as well as other presentations which include tuberculosis cervical adenitis, chloroquin induced hearing loss, and chronic otitis media resulting from measles and malnutrition. Due to the rapidity and ease of world travel today, knowledge, diagnosis, and treatment of tropical diseases are important for the American otolaryngologist.
