In an attempt to find a better technique for immediate control of CSF rhinorrhea following transsphenoidal hypophysectomy, a tissue adhesive, ethyl 2‐cyanoacrylate, has been used in 28 consecutive operations. The physical properties of the adhesive, its theoretical advantages, and our results are discussed.
