In presenting “The Otolaryngologist's Role in Catastrophe Surgery” acute management will be discussed, including laceration repair, facial nerve injuries, airway problems, facial fractures, both maxillary and mandibular, and vessel injuries of the neck. Reconstructive management of the ear, nose and throat injuries will be discussed including utilization of the regional and local flaps, grafts and inplants. Pictorial representation of problems encountered in civilian and war situations, with stepwise solutions to these problems will be incorporated.
