Basal cell nevus syndrome is a rare hereditary multiple‐system progressive disorder which was first reported as such by Binkley and Johnson in 1951. 1 Since then, retrospectively and de novo , over 150 cases have been reported. Reviews 2,3,4 have tried to define the clinical features which constitute the syndrome, but so many anomalies have been described that for the sake of clarity, I have eliminated all but the more salient features.
