The object of the writer, in producing this book, has been to provide the practitioner and senior student with a single volume of medium size, embracing sufficient information on the diseases of the throat, nose, and ear to be of value in practice. We congratulate the author on the success he has achieved. Written in an easy and concise style, the book is quite free from " padding " of any sort, while at the same time it is equally free from the objectionable features of books written purely to enable candidates to cram for examinations. Each section opens with chapters on methods -of examination, general semiology and therapeutics. This is followed by a full description of all the various conditions found in these regions.
