great value to the general practitioner, inasmuch as it brings within his reach descriptions of methods which are only to be found in monographs or recent literature. The subjects dealt with range from giving a hypodermic injection to catheterisation of the ureters, and while some of the diagnostic methods described belong more to the domain of the specialist, the majority are quite within the range of general practice.
