This project aims to create a History of research and cultural transmission of the Holocaust in Galicia, from its beginnings in the new millennium until the present day. The idea first came up in the University of Vigo (Galicia, Spain), within group TI4 for Translation & Paratranslation. Since then it has developed across several articles published in academic magazines and various talks and conferences. In addition audiovisual material has been created, collecting the witness of Galician victims of the Holocaust (Joaquín Balboa) and the Genocide (the 200 people killed in Mauthausen) carried out by the Nazi and Francoist dictatorships, as well as the actions of the Touza sisters to save the lives of European Jews. The main receivers of this information are teachers of Elementary and Secondary Schools, via the online course “Teaching about the Holocaust” (PLATEGA Platform) and the non-mandatory curriculum subject “Holocaust and Memory”. This article gathers all the bibliography, both printed and online, on the academic papers and the audiovisual productions now available for teachers of the memories of the Holocaust.
