The purpose of the work is to examine how local government units can support culture by awarding scholarships. The decision-making bodies of these units have a wide range of freedom in regulating the conditions and procedures for granting scholarships. However, the resolutions they issue must be precise and comprehensive and regulate the amount of the scholarship.
