Resumo. A fêmea de Sciogriphoneura brunnea Steyskal é redescrita. Fotografias e ilustrações das estruturas morfológicas do adulto são apresentadas e notas taxonômicas são discutidas. Uma chave de identificação baseada em caracteres morfológicos é apresentada para as espécies de Sciogriphoneura, incluindo comentários sobre alguns caracteres diagnósticos para o gênero e família.Redescription of Sciogriphoneura brunnea Steyskal (Diptera, Helosciomyzidae), Identification key to Species and Comments on some Diagnostic Characters to the Genus and FamilyAbstract. The female of Sciogriphoneura brunnea Steyskal is redescribed. Photographs and illustrations of adult morphological structures are presented and taxonomic notes are discussed. An identification key based on the morphological characters is provided to the species of Sciogriphoneura, including comments on some diagnostic characters to the genus and family.
